Reported in Hathian today; a parade of clowns, or at least what clowns might look like from a horror movie franchise… and they were riding pigs. Pigs named after HPD officers recently accused of rape and other crimes (although it appears Atsuko has now been added to the list…). You can read more about the alleged rapists here and then more recently here, when some pig heads on sticks were left outside HPD.
These clowns, riding their pig steeds were seen to progress through the streets, perhaps causing merriment for some citizens, but probably causing upside down smiles for those their steeds were named after.

One of our reporters, passing by seemed to see some kind of interaction between a clown (who we know as ‘Nuts’ and a group of HPD officers outside the station, but it wasn’t clear exactly what was going on, other than Atsuko really didn’t seem to see the funny side and looked like she probably wanted some smoked clown (or bacon).
With the outcome of the potential confrontation looking to involve smoked bacon, our reporter left the scene not wanting to catch stray barbs, but afterwards we received a dossier at the Observer from the Circus Maximus, the new group in town that Mr. Bob has been fronting.
Circus Maximus – The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
It has to be said readers that the Circus is providing a lot of ‘entertainment’ in Hathian, but in reality while their pranks have so far seemingly not caused injury or hurt, they are probably walking a fine line here. HPD aren’t known for their humour and threats of violence against officers, like those in the letter above… tend to get people clamped down on quickly.
What this letter really means, is hard to tell. Perhaps each crime associated with an officer has merit, perhaps it is just a link that the clowns enjoyed. However, from the outside the statement about Atsuko could be considered linked (her statements might be considered to lie in the cause of protecting her officers). If that logic follows, then it stands to reason each ‘horseman’ has been linked to crimes they are suspected of by the Circus…
As our editor was driving through town she spotted a loose pig, ‘Naka’ outside HGH. Who knows where they are now, especially if HPD dispersed the clowns earlier. We’ve put out for a comment from HPD and will update if we hear more later.
