I received a call from my boss Daiyu about a possible situation at Backwater. I didn’t know the details, but I was told it had to do with a local bank and to contact Detective Nikki Derryth who was apparently on scene investigating something.

I did as I was told and took a cab down to Backwaters and Port Laveau. A few hours later I was standing outside the bank talking to the Detective who was already visibly hard at work at the scene. She appeared to be taking all kinds of clues and evidence from the scene and you know it’s serious when the police tape is up!

So a Bank Robbery! What do we know about bank robberies other than those that looks like from the old Wild West movie with cowboys and horses?

What Happened?

We cannot share all the information we know, as some of it may be confidential and relevant to the investigation. However, the following is information that I can share with you, our dear readers, and we would like to ask you, the public, to help us find those responsible for this terrible crime.

The bank was robbed on April 27th, 2024. We’re sharing the security camera image with those responsible for the crime. Unfortunately, they’re hiding their (probably) ugly faces.

The question is: who are they? New dangerous criminals in the Backwaters who are robbing the poor citizens of Laveau of their money? We’ve had potential traffickers and we know there are other groups, so I’m speechless that yet another criminal enterprise appears to have grown up there. They’re just awful taking people’s hard earned money and I promise we’ll investigate them in cooperation with the police! We will find them, handcuff them and send them to the prison run by Warden Yheng to teach them a lesson! (Steady on Zofia, leave that to the professionals! – Ed)
