On January the 16th, the Observer carried the message from an individual or group that claimed it had deliberately infected HGH with Legionnaire’s Disease. On the 19th January, HGH published the following statement which we believe aligns with over ten deaths in the hospital.
The loss of life is terrible but was it all just bad luck and bad controls in HGH, or was there a bioterrorism attack? The individual or group that sent us a message before, as far as our IT and other experts can confirm e-mailed us again with a retraction of that claim, but a statement about why they had made it in the first place… We’ll let you read reader and where we can we’ll get more details from HGH, although knowing how costly medical malpractice is, whether we can dig this out is debatable. But there are victims we all know; our newest reporter Alice Crow for example who has a weakened immune system was nearly felled by the disease, caught at HGH. If it turns out this was negligence in cleaning and the like… she and others are in line for a big pay-out.

I just wanted to let you know that the claim we made about the outbreak at HGH was a hoax.
You may be asking why? Allow me to explain.
We sit here in not so comfortable Hathian while we hear news about Laveau being bombed and people being killed by known terrorists, terrorists our police let walk free. Look at the last article you published, ‘Hathian Under Attack‘
No, Hathian isn’t. Not at the moment. Laveau is. By terrorists our own HPD let walk freely among us.
These are the same terrorists that extort, murder and rape us, forcing us to live under a veil of constant fear.
We have exposed the hypocrisy of this. Are we content to let terrorists do as they like as long as they do it elsewhere? Terrorists are terrorists and should be dealt with.
Their pictures are in the paper. They were seen at the sites of the attacks in Laveau! Why then are the police not arresting them? Why have they not been put on death row where they belong for all the people they have killed both here and in Laveau?
End the hypocrisy! The police need to deal with them harshly and send a clear message.
Terrorism isn’t acceptable. Neither is Hypocrisy.
