It’s not every day you walk up to the attic of an ancient house to find a fully built school bus sitting there, looking like it was waiting for Miss Frizzle to take you away on an adventure – for education. Yet the Sigma sisters managed to bring the bus up there and reconstructed it, piece by piece as the highlight of their “Back to School” event. In front of the bus stood a stripper pole, and a chair with a Dunce cap. Around the attic was scattered an oversized dildo chair, school desks, a projector light, beer coolers, and a makeshift cafeteria bar.
The soundtrack for the party was perfect, including songs by the Beastie Boys, Ramones, and Donie Darko, highlighting songs like “Hot for Teacher”. Almost everyone went along with the theme in their wardrobe – the schoolgirl uniforms and teacher appearances were most prevalent, with rulers, books, short skirts and all. The stripper pole was quite well-used during the party, entertaining the crowd throughout the evening.
The crowd was a group of familiar faces around campus, and there was constant motion around the floor as drinks were circulated, people dancing, casual reunions of friends, and the usual light chaos of the packed attic.
Having come fresh from Sex-Fest, one of the female students seemed to be high off of whatever she had experienced at the party. She had a couple of sticks that lit up with flames, but Jizzabelle quickly shut that down, stating, “We do not fire dance in a historic plantation house!” The dancer followed up that act with a much safer hula-hoop routine.
Conversations swirled around the room revolving around petty fights on campus, lingering discussion of Sex Fest, protein boba shout-outs, and tunnels and lei lines below Hathian. While Jizzabelle played host, dee-jay, greeter, and proud architect of the constructed school bus. Between the outfits, the chalkboard, the cafeteria, and the bus, the message was clear: School is indeed back in session.
