HPD Corporal Nakayama will teach you how to defend yourself

Are you looking for a way to boost your confidence, fitness, and safety? Do you want to learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from harm?

If so, you might be interested in joining our self-defence class! Our self-defence class is designed for people of all ages, genders, and skill levels.

You will learn the basics of martial arts, such as punching, kicking, blocking, and grappling. You will also learn how to use common objects as weapons, how to escape from dangerous situations, and how to avoid potential threats.

Our self-defence class is taught by an experienced and accomplished HPD officer who will guide you through every step of the way.

You will have fun, make new friends, and improve your physical and mental health. You will also gain a sense of empowerment and self-reliance that will help you in every aspect of your life. Dress comfortably, wear sneakers, and we will be handing out rape whistles and pepper spray to attendees who want it.

Held at the CU Gym, next to the CUPD, the next class is on the 21st of September at 1pm to 2.30pm SLT.
