Ever since the terrible act of arson that profaned the sanctity of the building, which is located on North Shore Drive near the beach, a few months ago, the old Church of Hathian had been closed down.
No more! NOLA NOLIFE, a charity who works on the preservation of our beautiful state’s heritage, has been hard at work restoring the old building. Over the course of the past weeks, they rebuilt the Church as best as could be, hammering in the last nail yesterday.
The charity’s representative encourages every one to come visit the Church once more and hopes many will find a much needed sanctuary there.
