Civil Services Director Amelia Owens has decided to leave the post and resign. In a surprising move, the recently appointed director will no longer be working in and overseeing the legal and social services department. The former director issued this statement to the press.”Whilst my time as Civil Services Director was constructively spent, my personal life is in need of some TLC. I hope the employee’s of the Hathian Council keep up their good work with all the passion as always.” The former director admitted that it hadn’t been an easy job and with her personal life demanding her attention and focus she felt it was necessary to leave. Owens was the recent victim of a stabbing and took some time to recover from the injuries she sustained. This leaves the post for Civil Service Director open and as far as the Hathian Observer can tell, there is not yet any idea or hint of who will fill the position next.
