Hathians had an early Christmas surprise with a flash mob of 20 Santas outside of the Seaside Youth Center. The event took place on Friday afternoon around 2 pm. Spectators stated that the grouping of Santas gathered in the street, played Elvis Presley’s “Jingle Bell Rock” while dancing. The event took place for approximately 15 minutes and spectators that were interviewed stated that it led to many additional individuals joining the event.

Spectators turned on their cell phones and recorded the event and organizers stated that they were happy to bring a bit of holiday joy to the citizens of Hathian.

“It was boss! And the kids like me were given a lot of candy afterwards and encouraged to dance with them,” said Seaside Youth Center member Eric Lightman.

Organizers state that there will be additional flash mobs planned once a day randomly throughout the city until Christmas Day and in the future included will be musicians from the Hathian Symphony at the next two flash mob events
