With months of planning behind it, the park was created by City Council in hopes to improve the standard of living in the outlying district of Vodou.
Located beside the motel on the east end of town, the park sports fresh foliage, a pond, and even a dock for the hot summers that Louisiana seems to suffer through every single year. Open now, the whole community of Hathian is encouraged to visit and unwind in the peace and quiet of the relaxing grounds.
