Hathianites, you have a new Beauty Queen in town. Congratulations to Grey Jameson, representing your local pizzeria, the Pie Hole. Miss Jameson won the title over a fellow 14 contestants, all representing local Hathian businesses and municipalities.

The final crowning show was held Saturday afternoon with a large crowd to watch the swimsuit and evening gown attire. This came after last Sunday’s show on talent and interviews. Finalist were announced Saturday during gown wear. The five finalist were picked by local citizens’ votes, spanning the past week, Monday-Friday. The Clam Convenience reports collecting close to 300 votes over the course of the five days.

“We really are pleasantly surprised by how many Hathianites joined in to vote for their favorite contestant,” Alexia Rousseau, owner of the Clam Convenience and host of the Pearl Pageant, said. “And the whole show was cordial and an enjoyable time, for both the participants and the onlookers.”

When asked if she would host again, Rousseau said, “Maybe next year. I’m pageant[ed] out.”

Saturday’s show included five finalist:

Jasmine Hands, “Miss Hathian Motors”
Tiffany Starr, “Miss Venus Productions”
Grey Jameson, “Miss Pie Hole”
Alexandra Markus, “Miss Berthier Street Bakery”
Krystal O’Neil, “Miss Hathian Police Department”

Hathian’s own impartial judges, Fiona Milton, Alcide Rousseau, and Trixie Treadwell picked the show’s top three contestants. Alexandra Markus took home the third place title. Krystal O’Neil took the runner up position. Grey Jameson was crowned Pearl Queen and will receive a year of free groceries at the Clam Convenience, three months paid rent for the Pie Hole, and a full package massage special from Rub-N-Tug.

“It honestly was such a shock to be named Pearl of Hathian,” the winner and Pearl of Hathian Beauty Queen said, “All of the ladies who participated were just so gorgeous and talented and wonderful. To have somehow stood out amongst them was so totally WTF to me, but it’s an honor to hold the title.”

When asked about the prizes, Jameson said, “I’m actually not sure what I’m going to do with it all, but I hope I can continue being a decent human being and keep trying to help out the Hathian community in a way befitting the title of Pearl of Hathian.”

Jameson is on track for ‘world peace’ pageant status. “I’m fully intending to spread the wealth of my prizes to those who could use them more, except maybe the massage at the Rub-N-Tug because a little pampering is good for the soul.”
