This reporter has had it informed to her by sources within Hathian that the woman seen in the social media capture above is believed to be none other than the Monkey Bandit that has been robbing people across Hathian. While details are not 100% confirmed and in Hathian trickery and treachery are everywhere it seems that a number of law enforcement and civilians believe that ‘Katya Petrova’ is behind them.
Now with some exclusive details of some of the crimes we can reveal, we encourage you to read on. We’d also like to apologise to Miss Bethaributt – it seems someone else has hips like that in Hathian.
It Started with CCTV
Observer colleague Venus exposed the story first with a grainy CCTV image of the monkey bandit. Now however it has taken further tips to track down a name and track down some of the details of their crime.
And before people ask, we have it on good grounds that DNA evidence and other bits and pieces are available and being used to seek Police Action
And is now a Warning
We understand that Katya has not yet (although this was written on Monday) been subject of a formal arrest for these crimes, but a confidante to the Observer had this to say:
“She’s got grabby hands. If you’re around her, everyone knows things go missing, that things end up in her place, but she always denies it.”
Witness
Our attempts to locate Katya in person to get her side of the story (while keeping our cameras held tight) have not yet borne fruit. Some claim to know her, some said they could provide details, but they never transpired. Normally petty criminals are shopped easily by their street rivals, so in this case, if I was a betting woman, and while all are innocent until proven guilty (again – in Hathian it is sometimes not that clear, but I digress) it certainly has my journalist senses tingling. So keep a look out Hathian for Katya and keep a watch-out for well… your watches and other valuables!
