The Hathian Police Department (‘HPD’) were out and about on Saturday in an attempt to crack down on bad driving and other associated motoring offences. While it is often the case that they will crack down on anyone and anything, I saw a professional interaction between an unidentified African American and an unidentified HPD officer where the individual in the red Porsche was pulled over for a traffic stop and despite some profanities that drifted over the air, seemed to be able to drive away in freedom, but also with their vehicle, a luxury not always afforded to every citizen.
Keeping roads safe is important, Hathian has some poor drivers and the Observer encourages every citizen to remain on the Sidewalks (Pavements!) and ensure they look both ways before crossing the road, especially if they hear ambulance sirens.
