The Observer is often recieving gifts. Sometimes we’re lucky and it’s a thank you note, other times we’re a bit less lucky and it’s a firebomb or two.
We don’t usually get a woman in what appears to be a latex sex costume drop a package at the Observer late at night. Our poor quality CCTV is pictured above… maybe you recognise her?
Dear reader, that might be ok if it was chocolates or something nice. We are after the one business who has a job to prevent an information vacuum that many would prefer Hathian to operate… Anyway, this wasn’t one of those gifts.
A ‘Love’ Letter
“The Spider weaves it’s web, the flies end up dead.”
Anonymous letter
After photographing the package and ensuring that the letter was carefully scanned (while wearing gloves I might hasten to add) we took the package to the Hathian Police Department and with the heart now leaking slightly out of a the bag it was in, left them with box, bag, heart, letter and blood stains and as much information as we had (which wasn’t much).
Do you know who the ‘Spider’ is? Do you know a person missing or did you witness someone… well, probably a corpse without a heart? If you did, talk to us at the Observer as something we don’t like? Random corpse parts at breakfast time. We’d like to find this spider and remind them that in this town, murder is, despite what some say, not acceptable.
