Rumours of strange goings on reached us from near Laveau recently and being in the area the trusty News Van was able to get close to what appeared to be scientific or medically interesting things! We saw Dr. Toran entering a property dressed in full protective gear, with the LSD providing perimeter control. Sadly we were not able to get a statement at the time, just some long lens photos, but afterwards we approached the LSD.
After some backwards and forwards the Observer was able to obtain a statement from the Laveau Sheriff Department (‘LSD’) as follows:
“While following up on the report of a crime, we attended the house of the alleged victim, one Jordan Mendy to present them with the progress and findings on their case so far. It was while conducting this duty, black ulcerations were noted on the face, hands and neck. He appeared to be unwell and so pictures were taken and sent to Doctor Yaden Toran at the Laveau clinic. He suspected they were contact anthrax ulcers and asked we quarantine the man until he arrived with a team to investigate. It was found to be a positive case of contact anthrax infection. I would state at this time that there is nothing for the public at large to be concerned about and I expect Doctor Toran will make another statement later. That’s all, thank you.”
Senior Detective Nikki Derryth
While we were unable to talk to the potential victim, we were able to get a photo before he was ushered back inside before as we understand it some type of quarantine transfer to more appropriate healthcare.
With what appears to be a contained health emergency, the Observer will be sure to check in with Dr. Toran to ensure that the health of citizens of Laveau is managed and public communication by Health Authorities continues.
In our concluding image it can certainly be
seen that Dr. Toran was taking no chances!
A Professional Response
What more can we say, except if you see this, you probably need to run the other way! It’s either a health emergency or alien first contact.
Wishing Mr. Mendy a speedy recovery, the Observer will keep Hathian and Laveau informed.
