Chained & Paraded – Hathian So Classy

On my way to the Hathian PD to request commentary on a recent apparent death of an HPD officer (we’ll get this story out when we can), I passed by a man leading a nearly naked woman with a chain (and what appeared to be a blindfold) to his car.

Myself and another bystander challenged him. He brushed us off, physically almost shoving me to the side and then moved ‘his woman’ into what appeared to be his car, before driving off stating that it was in effect none of our business. This was no Hathian business advertisement but it also did not seem to be a kidnapping…

The woman, asked if she was consenting didn’t reply as she was led away, and also didn’t make any move to struggle or escape as the two of us queried her safety. Without any obvious signs of violence or any knowledge of who the man in the red top was, I resolved to report this sighting to HPD rather than try and ‘white knight’ someone who might be fine. On finally arriving at the PD though I came across another scene of gunfire and injury (watch this space as well for that report), meaning officers were not available to review my picture.

What do you think Hathian? Leading ‘property’ around on the streets – is that what our town has become? This town is full of strong women, some of whom are well known, I have a hard time imagining Eleri or Estelle or Tori needing to validate themselves with such wanton display by leading their men around. So is this Hathian misogyny or something else? Have your say.
