Two people were arrested on Saturday morning outside Lou’s bar in Central Hathian after a member of the public reported a man being assaulted with a baseball bat.
Officers from Hathian Police Department were dispatched as a disagreement turned violent when there was a confrontation between local resident Page Niekirk and Jesús Ramirez. As of this story going to press, there is still no information as yet to explain what exactly was the cause of the dispute. An officer at the scene described how Ms Niekirk had been armed with a baseball bat and had attacked Mr Ramirez with this weapon before a member reported the incident.
Officers arrived at the scene and were quick to calm the situation and disarm Ms Niekirk, and both her and Mr Ramirez were arrested and taken to Hathian Police Department to be charged.
