Hathian’s first accident related to the international sensation, Pokémon Go, happened this weekend when a teenager walked through a busy intersection, causing a car to collide with a cyclist.
The teen, who remains unknown, walked away unaware and unscathed, while the cyclist was sent sliding across the pavement after the car clipped the back tire. The biker received a nasty case of road rash, while the driver suffered a small amount of whiplash and shock.
All over the world, incredible stories are surfacing of people capturing criminals, being robbed, and finding dead bodies while Pokémon hunting. This past week, Niantic released the game in Canada and much of Europe, assuring us that many more unbelievable claims are going to surface.
