Battle and Vudu Alley were the epic centers of a Bloody Valentine Block Party for many of Hathian and BackWaters citizens. The entire block was transformed into a dripping with blood celebration of love and lust!

The Vudu Spice Shop, The Clam 24/7 and KeiKei’s Salon sponsored the fun and festivities with beverage booths giving away everything from coffee and lemonade to beer and hard spirits. A plethora of allegedly mood-altering tainted treats were offered free of charge.

The stage was reminiscent of the electric Capitol Hill Block Party held in Seattle, with flashing lights, exploding disco ball and strobing lasers that could no doubt be seen from outer space. World famous DJ Poppy and DJ Karigan performed along with the live singer guitarist Ash X.

Mr and Ms. Bloody Valentine

There was the much-coveted contest of being proclaimed Mr. & Ms. Bloody Valentine. This star-studded achievement was won by Donovan Richards and Karigan Hopper. Donovan wore a blood red vested suit and top hat, with his heart in his hand. Literally in his hand in a box. Karigan was a beautiful vision in blood and deliciously well placed gauze.

Kissing A Pornstar?

And speaking of studded stars, Crystal Moonstone, porn star and headlining stripper at the Serpent’s Den was on hand, passing out more than just kisses at the Kissing Booth.

Events & Fun

The party planner was none other than the Owner of KeiKei’s Salon and Manager of Vudu Spice, Keisha Montoya. Mrs. Montoya was costumed as one of the most provocative cupids this writer may have ever seen. Picture a cross between a bloody killer cupid and a succubus Valkyrie.

When Mrs. Montoya was asked to comment, she gave accolades to all the numerous people that were pivotal in the production of the event, with special thanks to the sponsors and entertainers. She also included special appreciations to the City of Hathian for the professional and prompt way they handled her permit requests and liquor license applications.  One would almost think Mrs. Montoya was running for office!

The other sponsors were unable to be reached for comment, as they were embroiled in a street fight that nearly closed the party down. Just another day in Hathian, with just a little bit more blood spilled in front of the Vudu Spice Shop.  It should be noted, none of the sanguinity belonged to any Hathian Police Department personnel.  At least not this time.

Can the citizens of Hathian expect more of this type of block spanning celebrations? Keisha Montoya assures us there will be.
