Welcoming the start of what the Berthier Street Bakery called ‘Sugar Season‘ over at ‘Sugar Row’, a crowd came for an autumn festival featuring axe throwing, bobbing for apples, grilled meat from the Slab, and seasonal offerings from the Pie Hole.

Nato Smith took top prizes in the axe throwing competition, while Odienne Milneaux had the best time in mechanical gator riding and her friend Kix was the day’s best apple bobber.

The specialty products featured at the Sugar Fest will be offered all month at the shops on Sugar Row. The bakery wishes to pass on a thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with them!

Looks like they just missed the bad weather as well!
