This incident was witnessed on the 15th July 2024
The Observer, (a little late to the write-up due to workload) is today revealing the dramatic confrontation outside the Hathian Police Department (‘HPD’) that led to the celebrated Krystal O’Neil making yet another arrest of the dangerously unstable Alice Crow (she of corpse drain fame).
Compounding this dramatic arrest outside the HPD Headquarters the Observer spotted the aftermath of a violent shooting between Lt. Vanora Blackheart and the woman described as ‘The Broker’, or otherwise known as Faye.
While our images concentrate on the arrest of Alice, due to the unfortunate positioning of both the injured Vanora and Faye who was in process of being carted away to Hathian General Hospital (‘HGH’) it can surely be said that this was one of the more violent days outside the station for a little while.
When An Information Broker Wants Hands-On
We understand from discussions with HPD contacts that Lt. Blackheart was approaching an illegally parked vehicle outside the station (something this reporter can well believe was making Blackheart all tingly with ticketing anticipation), when she was ambushed by Faye who was hiding behind said vehicle.
In a vulnerable position, Lt. Blackheart was ‘saved by the senior officer’ as Detective Inspector O’Neil, approaching from another direction saw the crouching Faye who had her firearm trained on Lt. Blackheart. It appears that despite a verbal warning we are told O’Neil shouted that Faye was still able to get shots on target on Blackheart.

Blackheart, (pictured left) is well known as one of the HPD’s most stylish officers (although perhaps not always in regulation uniform) was luckily wearing a police issue vest.
We understand that the shot connected centre mass, something that Blackheart does not need anymore of and we are glad to say that the vest worked to prevent critical injury.
With the assistance of other officers who responded out of the station, Blackheart was dragged to safety by Officer Jaina while O’Neil started to return fire at Faye, who had lost the element of surprise and was now beginning to take rounds sent in her direction from multiple officers.
The Observer is rather surprised that a woman known for her careful approach to the cultivation of information and the power of the subtle word and whispered command would find herself attempting to take down an experienced officer outside the HPD HQ.
Faye, (pictured right) when captured on camera as part of the HGH disaster was as we understood it, shot in the lower chest, possibly taking a serious stomach wound.

At the time this article was written we understand she has been discharged from HGH so it was just our luck that on the very day of publication we found Faye outside the offices, looking rather the worse for wear. Wanting her side to the story, we grabbed her for a few queries:
Faye: “Krystal and Vanora fucked up…“

“There are only so many sharks this tank can handle… Krystal is a politician but Vanora has more skeletons then any other I can track… She is the most dangerous cop… She made sure in jail to promise to throw me from a roof. My spat with Vanora and Krystal was because of what they did to our family at prohibition…”
Faye
Observer: “So you have issues with the HPD because they attacked you? Attacked your family?”
Faye: “No… Krystal and Vanora fucked up an op and got me on a fucking hitlist with the Yuugen… Then proceeded to have their hounds attack, abuse, and rape my family…”
Hathian’s cycle of violence continues and more so – we understand the wounds covering Faye were not from the HPD or Yuugen, but rather from the Rejects for whom Faye seemed to carry a grudge…
Faye: “And I have to figure out how to rid the city of the rejects.. AGAIN.. fucking did it once. I’ll do it again…”
Readers, we don’t encourage violence by/from/to anyone. It causes the issues seen in the picture above – injury, hurt and hate that drives a cycle, I’ve talked about this before, I won’t bore you with the details, but if you all just… stop striving and started cooperating, we could do amazing things in Hathian… but I know, fat chance.
Faye seemed a little worse for wear, apparently after eating at Jimmie’s Chicken so when a friend, or at least acquaintance arrived in the form of a heterochronic eyed man in a suit, she was in need of being led away to hopefully rest and recovery.
Alice “Driving In Hathian Is Just Murder!” Crow
With cops piling out of the PD, including some with very questionable approaches to law enforcement, such as officer Ellis, it was looking to be a Polyester (although in Vanora’s case, a gingerly applied lace) Pile-Up of officers on the woman. But this being Hathian, things went South in an unexpected way.
Alice Crow… reprobate and often attempted cop killer tried to drive her vehicle over the O’Neil who managed to avoid the attempted pancaking by getting under another vehicle. Gunfire continued and in the flying bullets Alice was shot but didn’t stop.
It took the combined weight of “Drop Bear” Monsen and his motorbike, landing on the roof, or otherwise attempting to jump over Alice’s car to stop her, although we hear that it was more likely bullets to the tyres that caused her to crash.

Despite this being a countless attempt on their lives by Alice, the officers instead of shooting her in a hail of bullets inside the car, managed to grab her out and take her into custody. HPD get some bad press (not only from us) but sometimes there’s a level of compassion on display – attempted murder of cop, from the same disturbed individual, would in many other cities lead to a dead Alice. But in Hathian, under O’Neil’s leg, she lives again.
We understand Bear, fresh from crashing his motorbike needed medical attention and that Vanora’s centre mass, despite bruising, required only home rest.
Alice Gives An Account
The Observer, on the 18th of July visited the HPD to enquire whether Alice still resided in their cells and on being told she did, advised them that Alice had requested an interview be allowed. Once this was checked and our cameras and other equipment handed in, Officer Drop-Bear and Lt. Calhern provided the escort as we interviewed Alice in the sombre setting of the visitor’s room at the HPD. The below is a shortened except from the interview, where we tried to find out what the root cause of the latest explosion had been from Alice… Hoping that there was something human in there…
Observer: “So you are here again with Vanora hurt, others hurt and for what? To feed an insatiable desire to horde bodies? To cause death and destruction? You said you wanted to kill me, but yet all I do is help and then when help has failed, tell the truth yes? So… what am I missing? What are our readers missing in this painting of you that is rapidly becoming a broken canvas?”
“But….you don’t know me, people presume but they don’t know, nobody knows, I keep it buried inside, and I didn’t horde bodies, I was lonely, just me and Rabbit, you presume about me but you don’t know shit…”
Alice Crow
Observer: “Alice, I am meant to write about what you did outside HPD earlier… You do understand why you get repeatedly here don’t you? You won’t last, but you also have no solutions for change, or do you?”
Alice: “I want it all to go away, everything, I wish I could remember, sometimes it’s like being forced inside a memory and I’m trapped, back down in that basement again. I took measures to distance myself from it, but Rabbit is my everything, and he protects me. He won’t let them hurt me again, I won’t go back in the dark…”
Rabbit is Alice’s mental shadow, her ‘friend’, her ‘protector’ and the one she calls on when something happens attributed to her. Cops describe it as faked, or a sign of her permanent need to be locked away, while Alice describes Rabbit as a friend, a real being that is part of her.
Observer: “Rabbit is your problem… I don’t have a Rabbit, I don’t think Vanora does, or Liz here… we do our bad and account for it ourselves… Does that make sense? If I hurt Liz, then I know I did it… maybe I might not know why, but I account for it and will be accounted for it… You want it to go away, but what you mean is you want Rabbit to go away? Or all of us… all of us Alice… does that make sense? He doesn’t want us around…. right?”
Alice: “He wants just me, only me, if we went far away we wouldn’t hurt anyone, in a small house by the beach…. after the crows I tried to fight, I tried to make a life, I moved away to Michigan, and…..and I was tricked, kidnapped…v….violated, tortured and I lost hope, I lost everything. H….he walked free and I was left just this…”
“Every gunshot, every ounce of something injected or smoked, every knock to the head, every loss of a family member or loss of a friendship because of… being… damaged, cracked and damaging things… it’s not doing you any good. You come back to Hathian because when you are more lucid, it’s here you can find the drugs, bodies and accomplices you need… That idyllic dream of a cottage is something we can
Observer
attain, but if that is only part of your heart’s desire, then it will always become a fantasy over the reality of easy pleasures and giving into urges here… I can’t advise, I can only ask… why do you keep coming back to Hathian then with… Rabbit?”

Alice: “I won’t be a puppet again, I was Malice’s puppet, I was Dions’ puppet and now I’m just me, myself, Rabbit. People like me don’t come back from it whole, I’m still in that basement, cold, alone and small…”
The Observer knows about Malice… you can make of her what you will if you are new to town, through research and other avenues. But rarely does one start in a basement, one is put there and then, puts others there. A broken cycle that people do not escape from.
Observer: “Sadness lasts forever… but…. find the box, put it inside, shut that lid really tight and tape it up… you cannot be defined by your hurt as the more you are, the more you are hurt! Only you can break the cycle before it breaks you… this town will inflate your ego and your bank balance, but drain your life and soul…. it senses weakness and exploits it…”
As for babies in the headline dear reader? I think you’ve had quite enough excitement in one article!
