It has come to the Observer’s attention through the review of cases filed and reported on at the HCS (Hathian Civil Services) that a ‘Attorney Jack’ has been spotted in the city offering competition to more well-established names like ‘Radio Attorney Davlos’.
For those unfamiliar with Jack, this is the same man after we dug a little who kidnapped the HPD’s Chief Inspector and myself and forced us to participate in a ‘Show’ Trial, with the intent to deliver a verdict against the HPD. Krystal barely survived an almost hanging. Not exactly typical judging was it…
The history is here: Day 1 / Day 2 / Conclusion – Death By Magic (Hanging)

As you can see from our gallery memories, this was not a Judge operating to ‘usual practices’.
A New Case
Attorney Jack has formally taken representation of Joyce Turner, a civilian struck during what police reports describe as a deliberate vehicular attack on a local pawn shop. This, readers, is the episode where Wilbur claimed that his brake lines were cut causing him to crash into a lot of people.
Jack states that in his client’s view and as a matter of law, Wilbur Fitzgerald and Mollie Kuramoto intentionally drove a bus into a commercial property, striking multiple objects and at least one civilian, Ms. Joyce Turner was left with life altering injuries and is wheelchair bound, subsequently causing her to lose her job and become a loner in society. As a matter of fact, he alleges that Mr. Fitzgerald subsequently engaged in further violence before being taken into custody while Ms. Kuramoto fled the scene.
“This was not reckless driving. This was not misjudgment. This was an intentional act that endangered every person in that area.” – From affidavit
The Hathian Observer understands that the civil lawsuit is seeking damages for:
-Physical injury
-Emotional trauma
-Medical costs
-Long-term care
-Loss of livelihood
“Criminal charges punish wrongdoing against the state,” Jack stated. “Civil action ensures victims are not left carrying the cost of someone else’s violence.”
This filing marks a continued effort to ensure civilians harmed in large-scale violent incidents receive meaningful compensation, regardless of the defendant’s current financial status. This appears to be the the first case in Hathian by Attorney Jack, who, we understand, plans many more cases that may or may not affect certain members of the public who hold a high responsibility to protect Hathian’s citizens.
The Observer looks forward to seeing if Wilbur did in fact get any money from his case and more importantly whether Jack gets any of it for his client. This is Hathian… so…
