The blood curdling screams that echoed through Hathian General Hospital during Hurricane Blanche might’ve been brushed off by the hospital’s Chief of Staff, but more rumours have begun to surface about the mysterious conduct within the hospital’s sterile walls, and this reporter has uncovered some chilling details that suggest there’s more to the story than meets the eye.
After our first article, a reliable source tipped off The Hathian Observer to something truly unsettling. It seems that in the storage closet of the staff only section of the hospital, is hidden an asylum-style restraint chair. But is the chair just a relic of the or is it still very much in use? Intrigued, this reporter decided to investigate on her own and through some stealthy manoeuvring, I managed to slip past hospital security and entered the restricted staff only zones. What I found sent chills down my spine.
There in a storage closet just a few doors away from the hospital staff break room and across the way from staff offices, was a restraint chair straight out of your worst nightmares, complete with thick leather straps and metal restraints, clearly designed to hold someone against their will. Is it unusual to find such archaic equipment in a hospital storage closet? Of course not, but what was unusual is the fact, on closer inspection, the chair seemed disturbingly well-maintained and there was a complete absence of the dust or cobwebs one would expect from something that hadn’t been used in many years. The sight raises alarming questions about what might be happening behind the hospital’s closed doors.

And if that’s not enough to send your hair standing on end, we’ve also learned, during the hurricane, whispers among the hospital staff warned those taking shelter to avoid eating any food provided by the hospital. The warnings were discreet but clear, adding another layer of mystery going on at Hathian General Hospital. What was wrong with the food being provided and why the need for secrecy? This reporter has reached out to one of the staff members that was giving such warnings but has yet to been able to secure a one-on-one interview and meanwhile the hospital administration have replied with only vague responses (no surprise there), this discovery raises some serious questions.
What’s really going on at Hathian General? The presence of that restraint chair suggests something dark, something the hospital administrators don’t want the public to know. Are patients being subjected to unauthorized treatments? Is there a secret psychiatric operation happening under the radar? Or could it be something even more sinister? Is this more than just idle gossip? The screams during the hurricane, the hidden asylum chair, the warnings about the food all seem to be pointing to signs that something sinister might be going on at Hathian General.
In the meantime, stay vigilant, Hathian. And maybe think twice before accepting any snacks from the hospital or upgrades to “private rooms.”
