As announced in the article for our competition kick-off, the Hathian Museum & Galleries in combination with the Observer is searching for Hathian’s Next Top Model! With an overwhelming set of entries it was hard, but we had to draw the line and stop taking new entrants and so we are very pleased to share with you our eleven thirteen final entrants who will be battling it out for the coveted crown at the Galleries on January 27th 2024.
Competition Format
- Each contestant will be present in an outfit of their choosing, fitting the theme of lingerie, swimwear or underwear. The outfit may be different to the one they’ve modelled for a photo in, but it doesn’t have to be.
- Each contestant will have five minutes ((maximum due to 11 x 5 = 55 being quite long as it is!)) to get up on the stage, then strut their stuff on the cat-walk. They may speak during their walk if they wish, or they may just wish to do the best walk they can.
- They will be docked a vote if they stay longer on the catwalk ((For anyone who needs adjustments due to typing speed – you can either ideally pre-write a catwalk post, or IM for an exception as we want to accommodate all OOC typing speeds)
- Each competitor will have a large display of their photo below during their catwalk available to be viewed by the judging audience
- Once all competitors have done their walk, each guest at the Galleries can use their mobile phone to vote for a winner ((an inworld vote board using the modelling photos will exist, one for male and one for female – one vote per guest, per board))
- After five minutes of voting, the winner will be revealed in both the male and female category and will be invited on the stage for a winner’s photo.
For any guests that wish to arrive early, the Museum and Galleries is setup for your enjoyment with a new private cinema in our basement levels, please take the elevator from the sub-basement bar. There are also plenty of other places to look into!

((Apologies for anyone who wished to enter who I have not taken forward, please accept my sincere apologies with the explain that the total photo time was already over a full day and to get the RP scene working, we’re already pushing an hour of the catwalk at 5 minutes per entrant. As always I am happy to take photos outside this competition for you, and there will be another one I’m sure!))

Can they translate it to the catwalk… Maybe Axel makes you feel wedding bells or lust with his light trickery… Maybe you want to be in the matrix with Buffy’s Chun-Li thighs…. perhaps the oiled form of Keys entices your interest, or maybe Saedi the cat-girl gives you pause for thought? Late entrants Asher and Dakota also look amazing!
