If you happened to visit the Batterie beach boardwalk today (Saturday 24th June), you’ll have encountered the busiest Hathian pride event yet, but with wet-t shirt contests, wrestling in baby oil and all kinds of outfits it wasn’t family friendly or a place for kids to enjoy.

Inclusivity is for everyone and so Club Aurora, located next to the CU campus in Black Bottom, is hosting a family-friendly Pride event on Sunday 25th June at 11am, whilst the adults are no doubt still basking in their hangovers or drug-induced come-downs.

The event will have live DJ’s with Ouija Boo and Eliza spinning the tracks so Hathian’s youth can party under safe supervision. There will be games and competitions and remember to wear bright rainbow-like colours.

This isn’t some lame party where the grown-ups take over and kill your vibe, its for the kids of Hathian so show up and be the party you want to see!

Drugs or alcohol will not be permitted though for youth, but accompanying adults will be served at the bar and security will be present to ensure everyone’s safety.
