Dear readers… Girl Behind the Lens, Daiyu Tang here. I hope you are tucked up in bed or safe in the arms of your loved ones, because perhaps... something wicked this way comes that is suggestively asking you to ‘come and meet the unknown‘… and I don’t think that means Elsa.
A Carnival unlike any other may be taking shape in the deep bayou around Delphine in the outskirts of Hathian precinct. Whispers and teasers and eerie posters have come our way at the Observer indicating that something or someone is taking up residence in the swamps. The carnival, if it truly exists would seem to be putting down roots in one of the most challenging places in Hathian. Shrouded in mystery local residents have reported strange noises of distressed or angry animals, strange men and women and missing lumber, building suppliers and other construction parts. What is going on out there?
The Observer has collected a number of posters around town that would seem to indicate that there is a group working on something out there. In case you have not seen them, we have reproduced some of them below:
It appears that this event, (which the Observer is going to call a Carnival based on the image on the left and Twitter posts noted below), starts in perhaps June or July (the posters mention Summer) this would probably explain why building supplies seem to be going missing now as they construct whatever it is out there. My experience of a carnival is that it only needs a big ring and a few things… a floating one? Can that really exist?
I searched and found a Twitter account linked to the name on the posters. You can view their content HERE. From the account we can see it is a carnival and they are looking for employees providing them with daily cash wages. Interested parties are requested to DM the Twitter Account, although the Observer feels this is not for the under 18s or those of a nervous disposition… ((In world speak with Camden Fabers (kurtissketch) if not on Twitter – looking for ALTS / MAINS / Interested parties. The Observer will be following this story and as and when we find out more (hey spooky people invite us for a tour?!) we will bring it to you. I wonder if it’ll be as good as last year’s Hathian Haunt? Tough ask…
