The local band “No One Saved” will perform on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 4 pm. Admission is free, and the concert will take place at the District 8 stage on Batterie St. Trish Claremont will open for the band.

No One Saved is composed of Mike Hearse on vocals and lead guitar, Xei Zael on guitars and backup vocals, Danica Creevy on bass and backing vocals, Adrian Peruzzi on drums and backing vocals. The band mostly performs songs in the rock and rolls genre. However, Hearse stated, “[We] sometimes have some surprises.” The songs are largely written by Hearse, with some contributions from other band mates.

The band first came to be in the late 90s with different members. Original band member Hearse expressed his interest in starting the band back up with different members, and the original band mates gave their blessing. Hearse met Zael when she worked at The Poison Apple, the tattoo parlor owned by Hearse. Creevy joined the band after she played at a benefit concert hosted by The Poison Apple. Peruzzi replied to an ad Hearse placed, looking for a drummer. After his audition, Peruzzi was hired.

Though the band does not currently have a manager, they do have many plans for the future. Hearse said, “We are in talks with a few record labels, and we’ll sign with whoever provides us the best deal with the most freedom. Once that happens, we’ll hit the studio and start working on recording an album, which I hope will be out before the end of the year.”

The District 8 stage is across the street from the Hathian Fire Department. Said Hearse, “We also hope that everyone comes to the show because it will be a good time.”
