On Thursday August 2nd around 8pm, Patrol Officer Bart Olbers responded to a call regarding a dead body near the ferris wheel in District 8.

The police identified the body of 18 year old, Racheal M. Seamore (Pictured Below) of Alabama. The body had bruising around the neck and arms and was also in possession of toiletries from the Master Bates Inn Hotel, but authorities are not sure if Seamore was staying at the hotel before or during the incident. Police suspect the body being dumped somewhere previously, and ended up washing up on the shore. Death was most likely caused by strangulation but there are no confirmations at this time.
