A criminal investigation closes with the arrest of a wanted drug kingpin, Roman Sias.

Sias was wanted on charges of resisting arrest, assaulting an officer, possession of a deadly weapon, and possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

On January 9th, police received a call about a suspicious person on a bike behind Rader Records on King and Hangmans Pass. Cpl. Meyer answered and discovered Sias on scene. When asked to produce identification, Sias drew a .44 magnum on Meyer. Sias escaped as he released three rounds of gunfire. Meyer survived with shots fired into his body armor.

Meyer chose not to pursue Sias on foot, but instead through the criminal database. A search of files within the last three months revealed Sias’s mugshot and identity. DMV records showed registration of a vehicle and residence within the apartment block of King St. linked to Sias.

“Problem with these gangbangers is they’re dense, not burdened with an overabundance of schooling,” Meyer comments.

Meyer, in the company of police officers Suki Sakamoto, Clarissa Fraiser, and Lt. Sal Rejos raided Sias’s residence on January 11th. Recovered from the scene was 67 kg. of cocaine, 13 kg. of heroine, 5 lbs. of marijuana, 10. Oz of crack cocaine, oxycodone, methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia, and $2.2 million. Sias and his vehicle were absent and were presumed on the run from Hathian.

Cpl. Lebowski discovered Sias on January 21st conversing with an unidentified man behind Rader Records. Shots were fired between Sias and Lebowski. Lebowski was hit three times in his ballistic vest, while Sias was struck twice in his vest and once in the leg. Sias, laid prone, was arrested and taken into police custody after treatment at Hathian General Hospital.
