On Thursday afternoon, a man attacked a woman with a knife in front of the Pie Hole Pizzeria, leading to several arrests.
Another man saw the incident and began defending the woman, going after the assailant. The woman, meanwhile, rushed to the Hathian Police Department for assistance.
Officers were able to disarm the assailant and paramedics came quickly to treat him and transport him to the Hathian General Hospital where he was evaluated before being arrested.
Meanwhile, according to the second officer’s report, who wished to remain unnamed, the rescuer experienced a PTSD flashback to his time serving our country as a soldier. Officers were required to use force to calm down the man, and when he resisted being taken into custody, he was arrested and taken to the HPD until he regained his senses.
