Around 2:00 PM PDT, the body of a yet unidentified woman was discovered on a bench in front of the cemetery. The cause of death is currently unknown. Police ignored queries for information and commentary on the scene. We’ll keep you posted as information is released.

“On the date of Thursday, July 12, 2007, A 19 Year old woman was walking in the alley behind Lou’s bar when she was attacked and sexually assaulted. She was strangled to death her body was dumped on a bench beside the grave yard. She was found by officers less than 20 minutes later. I want to stress that this murder is not connected to the serial killer that has pillaged our great city. The Detectives have this case now and are working on it around the clock.”
“The woman’s name is being withheld pending the notification of the next of kin. If anyone has any information about this case call crime stoppers at 222 TIPS if you have information leading to a arrest you will receive up to $2000, you will never have to give your name or testify in court. This is an ongoing investigation and Sgt. Newman will not be taking questions at this time.”
