Hathian Observer reporter Joanne Steel was critically injured outside Lou’s Bar on Main Street late on Wednesday Night.  Steel apparently was leaving the bar and had a brief conversation with a member of the Orcus Samedi Motorcycle Club, as she turned to leave she was hit in the back by a sledge hammer swung by the unidentified man knocking Steel to the ground.  Then a man later identified as Ash “Sinner” Brinner, the president of the aforementioned Orcus Samedi hit Miss Steel over the back of the head with a baseball bat while she lay on the street.

A source close to the hospital said that Miss Steel was in a vegetative state, though few could tell the difference, and it is unknown what sort of long term damage she may suffer or if she may make a recovery from her injuries.  Hathian Police Department are believed to be looking for a one armed man by the name of Kimble in connection to this incident.
