Columtreal University’s gymnasium transformed into a blush-toned dreamscape on September 7th, and trust me, darlings, it wasn’t just the walls that were glowing. Inspired by Chappelle’s infamous Pink Pony Club, CU’s Pink Prom was less ‘school dance‘ and more ‘supernova of spectacle.

Yes, there was a giant pink unicorn by the buffet. No, it didn’t blink. But everyone else did… twice… when CU President Mark Coletti and his wife Tala showed up in full pink regalia. Faculty in fuchsia? We’re living in strange times!

Sarah-Michelle Buffy Gage turned heads (and possibly twisted a few necks) in a hot pink gown so tight it could’ve doubled as a second skin. And Keyate Marshall? Let’s just say he redefined formalwear by going bare-chested under his tux jacket. Scandalous? Maybe. Unwelcome? Absolutely not.

DJ Isabis – Spin Those Tunes!

DJ Isabis (yes that hot one – Ed), fresh off her SL25 set, lit up the gym with a show that could’ve powered half the city and just when you thought the night couldn’t get any hotter, up-and-coming rapper Natasha Wilson cranked up the crowd to eleven with some heavy bars.

Live Music – Slay Time

Buffy and The Slayers took the stage. Their set was pure fire! ‘F-Boy‘ and ‘Something In The Water‘ had the crowd screaming, but it was new tracks like ‘Stranded‘ and ‘The Woods Where We Died‘ that gave the night its edge. Tragic cheer event references? CU never forgets. Copies of the album are available in the record store on Campus and in all good stockists online and in physical form!

Prom Night – CU Reigns Supreme

By the time Isabis returned for her final hour, the punch bowl was dry, the lights were low, and couples were slipping out two-by-two. Prom-night tradition, anyone?

So what did we learn? CU may have a haunted past (looking at you, Ava Delacroix), but when it comes to throwing a party, CU still reigns supreme!

Pink was the color. Chaos was the vibe. And CU? Still the campus that never sleeps.

You know you love me. XOXO, Gossip Girl
