Our editor at the Hathian Observer, Ms. Daiyu Tang was lucky to escape today with just her bag stolen and pride lost when she was put upon by a large male in some kind of clown mask down between Bourbon Street and the Diner at the waterfront.
Approached from behind while listening to music she was attacked by some kind of tool used to grab animals around the neck to control their distance.
Our Editor credits a passing HPD patrol vehicle for preventing the situation deteriorating further as she fought her attacker in an alley behind the Rub N’ Tug.
Daiyu said: “A bag can be replaced and a bit of dirt and scrapes is nothing in Hathian, but the real worry is that there is a man out there preying on women, potentially targeting those alone just going about their business. While thugs and rapists are nothing unusual in Hathian, this brazen attack during the morning daylight on a busy street was indicative of just how lawless Hathian can be”
The Observer is seeking further information on this male who can be described a very large, potentially obese black male, wearing a clown mask. Those with details should contact the Observer, especially if any overtures to the HPD have not been successful.
