At approximately 3:30AM on August 31, 2024, the unconscious body of a pregnant woman was found outside of Rader Records. The woman was subsequently identified as 18-year-old Astrid Naruma. There was a note found on her body for which a copy was obtained. The note stated the following:
“There. We even. PS: Astroid, quit running ya mouth, or the Rejects will eat your baby”
According to our sources, an older woman in red was spotted outside of The Daily Grind as she aggressively bullied and beat on the younger pregnant woman. The older woman was then seen attempting to shove Astrid into one of two vehicles in the middle of the street, only for both vehicles to speed off.
Witnesses say that a uniformed Sergeant of the Hathian Police Department swung into the passenger seat of one vehicle, causing it to speed off, the other vehicle following in hot pursuit down Main Street.
One tip then came in claiming that the woman then carried Astrid off somewhere down south with the help of an unidentified male accomplice shortly before midnight, hours before the kidnapped woman was found.
Witnesses Said… Not Much… With Their Words
Our Editor rendezvoused with the Rejects outside Rader Records later on the 31st to query this particular note. There was no comment from a range of known members, other than to tell her to fuck off, (or similar). Daiyu advises that in her experience the Rejects have never been shy to claim what they do, although perhaps attacking a pregnant woman might be one step too far. Never-the-less, it’s perfectly possible they are being setup by another group or faction, so readers should bear in mind, that while the attacked surely happened, the note may be misdirection as to the culprits.
The Hathian Police Department was approached for comment and in a show of power on asking for comment, our editor was assaulted by a female officer who punched her and then attempted to suggest she was propositioning for sex by asking questions. In a display of why Yoga is so important, our editor left the building in a hurry. But all the yoga training in the world can’t turn water into wine.
Tips?
So none the wiser as to whether HPD had a crime reported to them, who the HPD officer was who was involved outside the Grind and with the Rejects also saying nothing, all that can be known so far is that this woman was assaulted and left outside Rader… Just another day in Hathian?
