Bourbon Street In Danger

Readers, I live on campus but I travel a lot to meet new people and new places. Sometimes those trips turn out to be interesting stories and it happened again, just recently.

I visited Bourbon Street for the St. Patrick’s Day festivities and met Carly Cox. You may know her here, she was dean of the university and is a well-known and respected figure in the adult industry, (but not respected in other fields? – Ed).

Meeting at the Weiner Wagon

I had to work hard not to faint because I’m a vegetarian and I got close to so many sausage. Luckily, Carly knows that and didn’t offer me any meat.

We had a nice chat and talked about the boys not knowing what they wanted and then the discussion moved on to the Bourbon Street situation.

Troubles

Bourbon Street was a quiet place, it was all about commerce and adult entertainment, but that has changed. There was trouble and violence. Why is that? Because of the gangs and their demands for ransoms and tolls.

Yes, you read that correctly. In the 21st century, gangs are demanding fees and threatening violence against shopkeepers and tax-paying employees! And it’s not just Bourbon Street, even pawn shops have problems with gangs harassing them.

Defence

You’ve probably heard of the Harlots, a group of people who work hard for a living, look out for each other and protect each other. Like a family. Their home and workplace is Bourbon Street in Hathian (the one with the Titty twister and the XXX store).

Editor’s note: The Harlot’s are a Street Gang just like any other gang. While they may focus on keeping Bourbon theirs and may represent more sex workers than perhaps some of the other gangs, this is not some completely peaceful civic society. Our contributor Zofia, known for her open and trusting manner… not the best judge of groups!

Harlots are determined to proudly face danger and fight injustice and violence, Carly Cox sends a message.

“We are fighting the oppression of the gangs that are trying to prey on innocent civilians, and if they want to come stand with us, they can come see me at the Weiner wagon”

Carly Cox

If you answer the call of the Harlots, do it at your own risk, as a reporter I must inform you that gangs are dangerous and are very cruel and to cross the path of any gang, you risk your life. Do it at your own discretion.

But Wait, There’s More! – A Fight Night Event!

I wanted to know more about the situation in Bourbon street and I searched the dark web. Yes, DARKNET, the place where criminals share their information and offer jobs, and I found this.

A Darknet Advertisement for a Fight Night! ((17th March non SLT))

Something seems to be happening on Bourbon Street this weekend. Fight night. I don’t know the details. Better avoid the place… ((Don’t, it promises to be fun!))

Conclusion:

I believe that there is a right solution to this situation and that the solution is not street fighting and more violence. The police, HPD, should visit the site more often and ensure the safety of all who work there, or perhaps house an officer or two on Bourbon street?

Maybe house some officers here?

In the evening I visited Bourbon Street and met the Rejects. I politely asked them to stop fighting and work together with everyone, the Harlot’s included and why they were doing what they were doing and in return I was attacked and beaten!

Luckily there were more people around and I survived. Readers, be careful!
