A police raid at the Rougarou docks turned into a violent clash with the Kogarashi gang.

Officers met with molotovs thrown by the Kogarashi shortly after arrival. Fire spread quickly throughout the docks, forcing officers to take cover. Kogarashi members were the first to break lines, and charged at officers with melee weapons. Officers in cover return fire with tasers and bean bag projectiles.

A female suspect started her attack by threatening an officer with a baseball bat. Another officer rushed her with a baton and she retreated to a warehouse roof. Under fire, she climbed down the edge, jumped to the ground, and dived into alligator infested waters in escape.

Live ammunition fired by the Kogarashi targeted an officer with a riot shield. The officer shouldered the brunt of the attack, allowing police to press forward.

Aiding the charge, an officer threw a flashbang after dropping his burning helmet. The blinding light catches the Kogarashi gang off guard.

The onslaught of molotovs continued. Fire spread to nearby barrels and caused an explosion. Officers on the shipyard crane found themselves cut off from others by the growing flames.

A K-9 unit is released and commanded to attack. It charged upon a male suspect and bit down upon his hand, taking off a finger. The suspect retaliated with gunfire, hitting the dog. It suffered grievous wounds and became incapacitated.

Free from the bite, the suspect aggressively charged officers as he fled through a back passage.

Between gunfire and non-lethal rounds, one weapon stood out: a paint gun. From cover behind a crate, a suspect fired gold glitter paint upon an officer. The officer returned fire with a round of bean bags and hit the suspect. The suspect then fled over a chain link fence.

With Kogarashi’s ranks broken, they fled over fences, crawled through narrow gaps, and dived into brackish water in escape. Amidst the burning docks, Hathian police stand victorious. Their raid was a success.

Police surveyed nearby cargo and found $10 million in illicit drugs, firearms, and cash formerly belonging to the Kogarashi.

Media liaison officer, Corporal Jax Williams, released an official Hathian Police Statement on the raid.

The Hathian Police Department (HPD) has seized nearly $10 million in illicit drugs, firearms and cash as officers executed a search warrant at a local port earlier this morning on Saturday, May the 16th.

The HPD alleged members of Kogarashi, the organized crime gang led by wanted fugitive Brandie Kelly, were involved in the importation of more than 45 kilograms of cocaine in uncut bricks and 50 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine from an Eastern European shipment.

After weeks of investigation by the HPD Criminal Investigation Division (CID), Police were able to obtain the time and date of such shipment and successfully carried out a search warrant execution at the above date and location.

Among the above listed illicit drugs, Police have also seized $2 million in cash that was alleged to be involved with a money laundry operation. Further, Police have seized several small arms including Kalashnikov assault rifles and Tokarev pistols, as well as a number of ammunition.

HPD Lieutenant Craig Hamilton congratulated all officers that were involved with the investigation and search warrant execution. He further commented that this search warrant execution is a fine example of the very hard work that officers put in every day to protect the people of Hathian.

“The swift action of our officers ensured that ten million dollars’ worth of drugs and arms were prevented from ending up in the hands of those who seek to do harm to our communities, and who bring violence to our streets,” Lieutenant Craig Hamilton said.

HPD Detective Corporal John MacConner described that this search warrant as a great victory for Police on the war against drugs and urged members of the public to provide any information in relation to the warrants for the Kogarashi members.

“As of this moment, all affiliated members of such organized crime gang are being wanted in relation to their offenses. If you have any information that could assist us with the investigation, please contact the detectives at CID on 555-6182,” Detective Corporal MacConner said.

Hathian police had no comment on the number of arrests nor the condition of their K-9 unit.
