At 10 A.M. on August 10th, members of the Hathian community were dressed in formal wear as they entered the Fire Department Bay for the Munipal Fundraiser event organized by Captain Bliour Michaels. The box sat on a table near the entrance for all those who wanted to contribute to the Silent Auction. The proceeds would go to the Seaside Foundation.
$5,000 cash donation from anonymous vendor, contributing respectively to the $26,475 that was raised for the important cause while mingling commenced in this surprisingly peaceful event.
The silent Auction was made up of donations from different businesses within the community. Each person filled out a sheet specifying what they wanted to contribute to. Then Captain Bliour would go through and determine who the winners were.
