Burlesque Night A Big Hit

1 min read

The Titty Twister was packed Sunday afternoon as the famous Burlesque Night drew a large crowd of scantily clad women and a few lucky men.

There was no shortage of beautiful costumes detailed with jewels and feathers, and talented dancing complete with lots of high kicks. The highlight of the evening was the traditional can-can, which originated in France around 1830.

burlesque 2 Blue Handrick, manager of The Titty Twister, put on an entertaining and dazzling show with her colleges, and even took the stage by herself after the performance like she couldn’t get enough.

“The last [burlesque show] quite a while ago. It was our grand opening after the reconstruction, and it was a big success back then,” Blue Handrick explains. “Now we have a new supervisor, Lexi Morrison, so it’s another sort of grand opening. Her grand opening.”

Morrison’s next event will be held in a week’s time in partnership with The Poison Apple, the local tattoo and piercing parlor, for another tattoo contest.

Handrick also went on to explain how The Titty Twister plans to hold weekly events, with themes such as Oriental Night, Poker Night, and even a Gentleman’s Club. With the success of another Burlesque Night, the next events are bound to be quite the show.
