Ashlyn Naomi Hope arrived at the home of the recently engaged HPD Officer Anthony Gavilan and HGH Senior Physician Lake Ansar looking for their daughter Sunhi Gavilan. But this was no ordinary visit from a high school chum. Ashlyn, better known as Ash by friends and enemies alike, was drunk, high and ready for a fight. “You talk [expletive]! You get hit!” she said after mumbling something about the Gavilan daughter having a big mouth.
After brandishing a knife, she was subdued by the couple, arrested, and booked by Officer Gavilian. Facing the prospect of juvenile detention, Hope said, “[Expletive]! Don’t do drugs kids!” But the Gavilan-Ansar family has decided against pressing charges against the homeless and hopelessly drug addicted teen, choosing now to search for a foster home that can offer much needed guidance to the teen.
