A man known as the ‘clown rapist’ was killed in an altercation between the Hathian Police Department (‘HPD’), a local man identified as Ain Hopper and the deceased.
The deceased, featured in this newspaper as a serial attacker of women in Hathian had been apprehended by the HPD in July 2025 but it appears had continued to carry on his wave of attacks after being released.
In this instance it appears he was interrupted while assaulting a woman near the Gein restaurant. Witnesses confirm that a man, we believe to be Ain Hopper, acting probably on instinct of where to find victims found himself in the same space as the ‘clown’, busy as he was with the female victim.
It was reported that gunfire erupted with the clown shooting at the Hopper. This, being near to the Gein drew the attention of the HPD. In the ensuring firefight it seems the clown was hit, but word on the street is that he was in fact ended by an axe, wielded by Ain.
Whether CCTV footage of the final moments will emerge is an open question, and Hathian citizens are encouraged to send any such footage to the Observer so that we can bring closure to any other victims. The condition of the woman being attacked is not known at this time, but we understand she was taken to HGH.
We understand that the Hopper managed to escape despite potentially landing the deadly blow, a strange tale of the bad, removing the worse from Hathian’s streets.
The Hathian Observer’s Editor, Daiyu Tang, commented: “The lawless nature of Hathian can sometimes lead to outcomes that reek of karma. In this case, Ain Hopper has done what our court systems and HPD could not. Prevent further harm to female citizens.”
