Official Statement From the Hathian General Hospital and the Fire Department of Hathian

Out of an abundance of caution, Hathian General Hospital will be relocating operations to the Hathian Theater and will remain in place for the duration of the impending storm. The hospital itself will be closed Wednesday afternoon, and all incoming patients will be routed directly to the field hospital that will be set up at the theater. This move aims to offer more centralized and accessible care for the people of Hathian during this time period.

The move itself will take place on Wednesday, September 17th, thanks to a well coordinated operation between both HGH and FDH staff. The comprehensive relocation plan has been created with the safety of both patients and staff in mind, with the goal of being fully set up prior to the storm making landfall.

We ask that all questions or concerns please be directed to Shelby Henderson, Chief of Staff at Hathian General Hospital.

Thank you,

Shelby Henderson, HGH Chief of Staff
Dale Warrhol – Fabers, FDH Chief

The Observer Writes: From our understanding after a quick call with Chief of Staff Henderson, HGH will be CLOSED entirely starting Wednesday night, all patients will need to report directly to the Theatre at that point.

After the recent joint conference (that sadly was postponed), it appears to mark another key partnership between HGH and FDH in what seems to be a growing and evolving joint front in public services. This can probably only be applauded in Hathian.

The Hathian Theatre will operate as the designated storm shelter for Hathian and therefore we expect it to be busy. Still, it should be more comfortable than many places. Plus they can show movies!

We caught up with the new public service power couple to get their specific thoughts:

“We know storms can shake confidence, but rest assured FDH and HGH are working side by side to keep services running. Do not go to the hospital building once it’s closed Wednesday afternoon – all emergency care will be through the theater site. Our crews will be all on-duty throughout the storm, and we’ll get through this together.”

Dale Warrhol-Fabers

“This isn’t our first rodeo, and every year, we get a little better at trying to get ahead of these things. The hospital will be entirely closed starting at 4pm on Wednesday, so DO NOT seek treatment there, please report directly to the Hathian Theater. We will have emergency supplies on hand as your designated shelter location, but please make your safety a priority – do NOT wait until the roads are impassable before seeking shelter. We’re in this together Hathian!”
