Dear student reader (and the pervs… I mean dear readers from Hathian!) it doesn’t feel that long ago that I was writing about a course I happened to stumble upon in Columtreal. You can read that article HERE but suffice to say this was a continuation of the lesson which had proven popular for both spectators and judging my Google analytics, many of you.
I attended and made myself comfortable on the side-line while students trickled into the gym to watch the spectacle.
The first part of the routine started with cardio again, which considering the students involved was an exercise in all of Newton’s laws of motions. For those who are a bit rusty on their physics…
- An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force.
- The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of force applied.
- Whenever one object exerts a force on another object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite on the first.
Better Views Came to Pass
While it’s fair to say that there was great effort exerted by the two relatively equally matched students in the ring there was a distinct lack of soignée effort from the coach who it appeared was perhaps more Borat than Brad Pitt in terms of choosing clothing. Any student wishing to sign a petition that coaches should not wear whatever this thing is, please reach out. Before I gave up hope though, a little eye candy presented itself in the audience, although it has to be said that a hair dryer might be needed to melt through their icy exterior.
I do wonder how long these wrestling classes can continue, either before Newton’s third law applies and the gym is destroyed as these two wrestle or the leotard of the instructor Danzig causes blindless. Either way… watch this space as I intend to continue to observe how this class develops and whether any new, inked, students of tasty variety appear in the audience!
