Are the sophomoric actions of a few juvenile, immature, un-ripened Officers the true reason why Hathian is not yet seeing a curb in crime? After you read this article, you might be inclined to believe so!
In every City there are both good and bad Police Officers sworn to serve and protect. However, the problem is that all too often, the bad cops create such a foul aroma, that it drowns out the fragrant, rose scented pheromones…of good cops.
The Observer has received exclusive information, about a few bad Cops, who decided to turn one young man’s assault and battery, into a spectacle of exploitation and blood. The likes of which rival the gladiators of Ancient Rome.
Bobby Raymond Lee…known to his friends and family as Bobby Ray, was working at the Grind Cafe, barely making enough money to make ends meet, when he was viscously attacked and assaulted by a man, he calls Bentley. Why? Because a conniving…desperate little… attention seeking tart by the name of Emma, decided to start trouble between the two boys!
According to Bobby Lee, Bentley assaulted him, and when Police arrived, instead of arresting Bentley for assault and battery, the Cops not only ENCOURAGED the fight, but actually stood by as referees during the entire assault.
Bobby Lee recalled the events of that dark day-
Bobby Lee- “People just like to pick fights with me. The problem is that I’ve been cursed with a puny body. The fight I’d just had… happened after an argument with my ex-girlfriend. She went and told this guy who she knows… doesn’t like me. The guy found me at The Grind and wound up beating the daylights out of me outside… in the street. There were cops around but they didn’t interfere and just watched me get beaten up.”
Bobby shares more details about the attention seeking tart, who instigated the fight between the boys-
Bobby Lee- “Her name is Emma and things were really good for a while but then went downhill. We broke up last summer but we still both work at the Grind and still have to see each other at work. And this past weekend we wound up getting into an argument.”
Cadence St Clare- “So who was the guy you got into a fight with and how did it happen?”
Bobby Lee- “His name is Bentley. And it wasn’t the first time that he beat me up. He’s a typical Hathian bully. Yes, it was bad, and I was admitted to the hospital with a concussion,”
When asked about the HPD and whether they assisted him…Bobby appeared to struggle…recalling how the Officers made a spectacle out of him, for sport and entertainment–
Bobby Lee- “The police were there watching, and one kept pushing us and encouraging the fight. There were two other cops there who just watched. I guess it was entertainment for them while they stuffed their donuts in their faces. So, reporting it to the police would be a waste of time. Well, reporting anything to the Hathian cops is usually a waste of time.”
Cadence St Clare- “Wait…wait Bobby that can’t be right. The Police were there and watched this all go down? And encouraged it? I mean…did you get the names of the Officers?”
Bobby Lee- “Officers Cade, Crow and Naka were at the Grind during the fight. And an off-duty cop named Xena was also present.”
Despite what happened, Bobby doesn’t hold a grudge towards the officers who exploited him, instead of saving him from the attacker.
Bobby Lee- “I’m not that mad at the cops…just mad at Bentley and the ex (Emma). I’ve lived here long enough and seen enough to know that you can’t put your trust in the police force here. And the crime rate here is insane. I expect things like this to happen here and I’m just trying to survive and take it one day at a time. I’m pretty used to getting bullied. Have been all my life. The curse of being a music nerd. “
Is this why there is no curb to the crime in Hathian? Are some Officers too busy engaging in childish behavior to do their job? Only you can be the judge. However, to those Officers I will say…you are paid to serve and protect Citizens. This isn’t an episode of Vince McMahons…WWF…Monday Night Raw. Grow up and do your job. How can Hathian Citizens expect you to curb crime when you (Cade, Naka, Crow and Xena) are getting your rocks off to it?
To their bosses…this reporter strongly feels those Officers should be suspended without pay…if not fired, while 2 warrants are issued. One for Bentley, and one for Emma. Why Emma? Because all too often we have girls who don’t get enough attention at home and seek their HORMONAL THRILLS… by having two guys duel over their perfectly manicured hands. A duel which could lead to someone losing their life! You’re disgusting. How many stories have been read about men who get punched and die from the blow alone!
Bobby is hopeful he can pick up the pieces of his mangled life from this harrowing ordeal…but may be contemplating leaving Hathian for good because of this!
Bobby Lee- “Hopefully, better times are ahead but it won’t be here in Hathian.”
