The graves of four individuals were desecrated and robbed sometime Sunday morning in what is now the city’s second “body snatching” incident since January.
What was supposed to be the final resting places of Luke Barnes, who died earlier last week, Kriston Millet, who was murdered in June, Katie Wales, who passed nearly two years ago, and Leslie Pink, whose date of death was illegible, were dug up sometime in the early morning hours yesterday.
The Hathian Police Department did not wish to comment on the investigation at the time of publication, saying they did not want to harm any leads they may be following.
While it is anyone’s guess as to who is to blame, the crime was likely committed by a group of people instead of a lone individual, simply because of the large scale of the theft.
