The young daughter of former Hathian Police Department Chief, Hendrich Andel, was murdered earlier this week in suspected retaliation for the brutal public execution of Kayl Vond.
Late Monday evening, Colton Vond, patriarch of the large, infamous Vond family, brought Nia Andel’s half naked body to the police department before confessing to killing her. Cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the forehead.
Andel leaves behind her young daughter, twin brother, and both her parents, as well as the father of her child. She was also preceded in death by her aunt Kaynia Stephens-Clary, former HPD officer, and her aunt Roxanne Stephens, who was killed during HPD takeover in 2013.
“One HPD’s own family was taken,” says Captain Grace Robertson, who is department lead while Captain Jeremiah Xuanzang is away for medical leave. “Nia was an innocent person, and Mr. Vond’s punishment will be enduring.”
