Hathian was once again rocked by violence on Saturday, February 4th when one of its policemen was brutally attacked. Identified as Officer Adam O’Connor, the policeman was apparently off-duty in the Hathian graveyard near Rader Records when a woman, tentatively identified as anti-HPD firebrand Sofia Keolanui, attacked him from behind with a knife.
Observer sources at Hathian General tell the paper that O’Connor’s throat was badly injured when Keolanui stabbed him, but declined to comment on his stability or prognosis. According to bystanders, Sofia Keolanui was wrestled to the ground by two policemen, currently unidentified, and is believed to have been taken to the cells at HPD.
Given Keolanui’s recent articles excoriating the police department for their brutality against herself and other prisoners, it is hard not to wonder whether or not this attack is somehow related to her alleged experiences. The jail would neither confirm nor deny these questions.
