In a better late that never move from the federal government, the Mayor has successfully campaigned for some assistance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Aid is arriving to Hathian General over the next few days, with additional supplies for what some are calling a superflu and others are believing to be smallpox, so that both can be tested while a lab in Atlanta researches the nature of this winter bug.
Funds have also been allocated for the construction of a quarantine camp along the edge of the bayou in Hathian, with tents for those who’ve fallen ill, so that HGH can free up some beds for new patients and those unrelated to the disease. A brief inspection of the camp raises some suspicion that the Mayor has once again pulled some of the funds for ‘city repairs’, but the City Council has thankfully donated space heaters, food, and water to the camp, which has been supplied with beds and medical supplies. Ella Enterprises, headed by Lexi Ella, has been commissioned with guarding and managing the quarantine area.
Anyone showing signs of sever flu or rash on any part of the body are urged to visit HGH or the quarantine camp on the northside of town.
