Autumn is well under way in Hathian and its adjoining suburbs, as residents might notice from the webs and pumpkins placed down by the City Council. Various citizen groups and businesses are getting into the spirit, as well, with events planned throughout the next few months.

Oct. 22-24: OKTOBERFEST! Black Bottom – Enjoy beer, brats, games, and good times in the field behind Val’s Irish Pub. (Event schedule forthcoming)

Thru Halloween: HAUNTED HOUSE Black Bottom on edge of Fishtown – Bring the brave or the easily-scared for a walk through mysterious horrors, and see if you can make it out alive!

Oct-Nov: PUMPKIN PATCH Hathian along the D8 border – whether to carve, paint, or smash on the ground, pick up for pumpkin today! Reasonable rates, no guarantee on freshness or quality of merchandise.

Be on the lookout for more to come, including a seance at C&J’s Comiquities and a trick-or-treat trail around Hathian’s local businesses! ((Along with something rather crazy and big for Halloween!))
