The Observer has been given a series of photographs of a woman hanging helplessly from a wire. This incident was alleged to have occurred in mid-December, before the holiday. The woman is alleged to have been a cop.
We have not published this before as the holiday delayed us authenticating the photos.
Hathian’s Chief of Police, Detective Inspector Krystal O’Neil, speaking to the Observer, confirmed that the woman was, indeed, a serving police officer. She also stated that the officer had recovered from the ordeal, and was now in full health and has returned to active duty.
She also stated that suspects have been apprehended and the investigation remains ongoing. She declined to elaborate further.
From the photos, the incident appears to have taken place only a block away from the police station.
The Observer has been told the name of the officer, but is withholding it until her identity is officially released.
