It was hot, it was humid, it was Hathian at its brightest. Brightest neon that is!
Drinks were flowing, and party favours abounded as The Clam 24/7 (that well known grocer store), Radar Records and the Vudu Spice Shop hosted the ‘Rave of the Year’ on the 14th of September at the Plant in Devil’s Pocket.
The venue was transformed into a rave reticent of The Printworks in London. Gutsy steal fencing electrified with neon piping adorned the walls. Trending contemporary furnishings provide guest seating. A DJ stage, lighting and a dance floor looking like it was imported directly from the Gashouder in Amsterdam, provided the entertainment.
The rave flyer covered what guests could expect best:
For a bass that rattles bones, lights that burn through the dark and heat that doesn’t let go! Step on into the underground where the streets thrum with rhythm and the walls drip with sweat! NO RULES… NO APOLOGIES… JUST THE MUSIC!

The Hathian Cyclopaedia of Who’s Who
Also seen were the major players of many of the Hathian gangs and even some from Laveau. We think they included Haven, Rejects, Yuugen and even the odd Salpori member. Of course the Hathian Police Department were there as this reporter includes the HPD as a faction of Hathian, as everyone knows they are the biggest criminal element in town. Though typically chaos owns the night, there was not a single skirmish.
All the makers and shakers of Hathian, and those in the know were in attendance. The three promoters were asked how they felt the event was received by the community, and their thoughts about the large presence of the major factions of Hathian and Laveau at the event:
Eva Zero: Vudu Spice Shop
“Hmmmm? gang members? I didn’t see any of them there. It was a party. Nothing like a good party. I would think that it was received really well because it was packed!”

Bryce Camden: Radar Records
“I think it was very well received by the community as a whole. The amount of people that turned out for it speaks for that. People need a way to get their minds off of the problems that persist in Hathian. As far as major factions being there, I find it a offensive question. We didn’t ask people at the door about their race, religion or ideology. I was too busy looking at all the colourful people to pay attention to who was who. I saw business leaders from all over Hathian and Laveau as well. Along with off duty HPD and many others.”

Charlie Bundy: The Clam 24/7
“Fuck off slut, I got work to do.”
The three sponsors did agree on one thing… this would not be the last event the trifecta of fun would promote!
